About Us
The current Gippsland Bowls Region was formally established in July 2021 following the amalgamation of the former East and North Gippsland bowls divisions. It comprises 19 clubs – Bairnsdale, Bairnsdale Golf, Bruthen, Golden Paradise Beach, Heyfield, Howitt Park, Lakes Entrance, Lindenow, Loch Sport, Maffra, Metung, Orbost, Paynesville, Rosedale, Sale, Stratford, Tambo Valley, West Sale and Yarram – with a combined membership of 1600.
The Region is administered by a board which oversees pennant, regional and State events, regional representative sides and junior development through the Gippsland Geckos program. It has established competitions, junior development and representative sides committees to coordinate these activities.
