Gippsland Bowls Region  – BV State Event entries – Using Bowlslink

Earlier this year you may recall receiving correspondence regarding the use of BowlsLink for the management of competitions in the GBR. The purpose of this email is to ensure you and your club members are aware of the process to enter State Events this season.

The BowlsLink system allows efficient and effective management of bowls competitions. While it may be confronting and seemingly complex at first, after some interaction with it, the system is a simple system to use.

I am fully aware there are concerns out there that bowlers may not understand or have the knowledge to use a computer or device to access BowlsLink, and this may affect the number of entries we receive for events. For this reason I would like to ask you to support the use of BowlsLink for entering events, particularly for club members with lower skills in the use of computers. If you have a computer at your club, please work with your club members and assist them with resetting passwords and accessing the various member functions in BowlsLink.

I have attached a “how to” guide on resetting a password for a first-time user and entering competitions through BowlsLink. You can print this out and have it within reach when using a computer or device at your club.
