Good luck to our GBR representatives at the State Finals!

Gippsland sends best wishes to all our players competing at the State Over 60s finals being held at Bendigo this week. Gail McKenzie will take on Dianne McLeod from Eastern Ranges at 9am tomorrow (13th April). She will be looking for gold after being runner up to Alison Hall at Warrnambool in January.

At the same time, Shane Holmes takes on Craig Bishop, Northern Gateway. In the afternoon, the Pairs competition gets under way. Pam Griffiths and Kris McAlpine will contest their first round against West Coast’s Heather McIntyre and Cheryl Trotman, while Nigel Plunkett and Greg Flower will play Sandbelt’s Graeme Rogers and Graeme Spencer. Our Novice players will contest their first rounds on Sunday 18/4 at Mulgrave. Kirstie White plays Christine Battersby from Eastern Ranges, and Atilla Sofran plays Wayne Kavanaugh, Metro West.
