Pennant Finals 2024
Pennant finals are being conducted across the region. Region 1 Weekend saw the first shock of the season with Lindenow ousting reigning premiers Lakes Entrance. Lindenow continued their good form into the semi finals defeating West Sale. The will now play Paynesville at Sale for a spot in the grand final. Bairnsdale secured their place in the grand final defeating Paynesville at Metung.
Division 2 East weekend played semi finals and preliminary finals at Lindenow where Bairnsdale and Lakes 3 earned their spots in the East section final on Saturday at Bairnsdale.
Division 2 North at Heyfield, Sale 3 accounted for West Sale 2 and will play Maffra 2 at Sale in the section final.
Division 3 East Bairnsdale 1 Golf def Metung 2 and Lakes Entrance 5 def Paynesville 3 in the semi finals at Bruthen which eliminated Bruthen and set Lakes Entrance to the section final. In the preliminary final Paynesville booked their spot in section final at Bairnsdale defeating Bairnsdale Golf.
Division 3 North Sale 5 defeated Maffra 3 and will play Rosedale in the section final at Sale.
Division 4 East at in the semi finals at Paynesville, Lindenow 3 were defeated by Bairnsdale 5 and Bairnsdale Golf 2 defeated lakes Entrance 6. The preliminary final Lakes 6 defeated Bairnsdale 5 and will play Bairnsdale Golf in the section final at Bairnsdale.
Division 4 north preliminary final at Heyfield saw Yarram 2 account for Maffra 4 and they will play Sale 6 in the section final at Sale.
