More State events decided

On the 29th January at Bairnsdale  state events  finals were played.

The women’s singles was  finalised with Paynesville’s Rhonda Sadvosky defeating Gail McKenzie (West Sale).
In the Mens pairs Brad Lancaster and Brendan Addison (Lakes Entrance) became region champions running out winners over Brendan Fleming and Rohan Kelly from Heyfield.

The semi final of the women’s triples saw Gail McKenzie, Pam Carter and Jan Morton (West Sale/Sale) defeat Julie Simic, Judy Beesley and Rhonda Sadvosky. (Sale/Paynesville)
Mens triples semi finals winners were Dennis O’Keefe, Wayne Morris and Rohan Kelly (West Sale/Heyfield) who will play Donald Banks Nigel Plunkett and Ray Barry (Lindenow) in the final.

Women’s 60+ semi final Julie Simpson from Lakes Entrance defeated Margaret Hicks from Bairnsdale.
Mens 60+ Singles quarter final Wayne Jones Bairnsdale def Kel Brandhoj Lakes Entrance.
Mixed pairs semi final Jo Martin and Brand Lancaster (Lakes Entrance) def Jan Morton and Junior Edwards (Sale/Lindenow)
Men’s singles Semi finals saw James McCausland (West Sale) def Lindenow’s Nigel Plunkett and Brendan Addison (Lakes Entrance) defeat Brand Montant (Bairnsdale)
