State Event round up

State Fours 

The State  Fours were contested at lakes Entrance. The women’s final was between Jo Martin (S) Marg Brandhoj, Judy Beesley and Julie Simpson playing Leonie Flynn (S) Kirstie White, Julie Orchard and Jill Anderson.

Jo Martins team continued their form from the preliminary rounds running out victors 18-9.

The men’s events saw some enthralling games with extra ends needed to determine the finalists.

The Paynesville team of Adam Easton, Simon Kiss, Rhys Selleck and Mark Challman (s) defeated Sale’s Peter Nikitin, Ray Kennedy,  Shane Dove and Andrew Bell (s) by the barest of margins 13-12
